Prelude:
Morill, Maine--April 2nd, 2004. Danny Fletcher, walking along the sidewalk, spots a piece of glass, eminating a green glow. Leaning down to pick it up, a strange new feeling overcomes him, and he falls to the ground, out cold.
He wakes up in a whole new environment. White walls, IVs sticking out of his arms...a hospital? No. Hospitals weren't this dreary. Dreary, yes, but not this dreary. He notices a black nautical star tattoo on his arm. But he has no tattoos. Confusion overtakes him and he decides it's definitely time to exit stage left.
Standing up slowly, he carefully pulls the IVs out and heads for the door...
Meanwhile, a couple doors down, Alivia Andrews struggles to loosen her sister, Emilia's grip on her wrists, to no avail. A man in a black trenchcoat and sunglasses stabs her in the shoulder with the glowing green glass and she falls to the ground, a tingling sensation overtaking her entire body...
